Feeding update

In our 200 gallon system.

Copperband Butterfly: Target fed live blackworms and clams so he gets his share of food. The other fish would out compete if food was simply dropped in the tank. And too much food would be needed to be sure he got enough.

We use a baster and he uses his snout to get the worms that the other fish can’t reach. He will not eat frozen bloodworms. He appears to NOT eat Aiptasia (usually considered a pest), but it is possible he might be picking at new very small colonies since the outbreak is confined to one small area of rock and they are large. The Copperband does nip at algae sheets, but not sure if actually consuming.

Yellow Tang: Will eat anything.

Damsels: Will eat anything.

Cleaner Shrimp: Will eat anything, often target fed.

[ We are feeding 2 to 3 times per day. Amount that is consumed in about 10 seconds. ]

Bubble Tip Anemone: Target fed pieces of clam every few days.

Corals: We are not feeding anything special at this time.
